Braden + Emaline

F  rom the moment I met Braden & Emaline, I knew that their wedding would be a dream to photograph.  Sitting at her Nana’s dining room table listening as Emaline discussed in full detail her vision for her wedding day, was everything I longed to hear from a bride for as long as I have been a wedding photographer.  She had me at Long bridesmaid dresses, fresh florals, New Harmony, Indiana & Navy blue tuxes with leather brown shoes for the guys!  Braden & Emaline were my ideal couple and I couldn’t believe they wanted ME to capture their wedding day! Needless to say I was on cloud 9 for quite a while after that!  

I knew that Emaline was a girl after my own heart when she agreed to explore different places for their engagement session.  Nashville came up as an idea since they both lived there and we were like “Why not?” Both Braden & Emaline attend Lipscomb University. and we thought that it would be super special to do their engagement session in that beautiful city so we could document this time in their life!    After doing their engagement session, and having such a great time together, I just knew that their wedding day was going to be amazing!

Fast forward to literally the hottest day of the year!!!  Late June weddings are always expected to be hot, but the humidity on their wedding day…  MY OH MY…. THE HUMIDITY was intense and we did not have a cloud in the sky. 

No matter what the weather through our way, we did not let that deter us.  I got the special privilege to have front row seats to watch the day unfold before my eyes.  Emotions were high… In a good way.  The love these two have for each other is nothing short of refreshing!  From the first look, to the wedding ceremony to the speeches at the reception.  Many tears were shed.  I admit, I even had to bite my lip hard during the first look. Wowza!!! 

I don’t know about other professions, but my job has allowed me to form some special relationships throughout the years.  It’s so much more than photographing an event for me.  I feel so lucky to have met some of the kindest most generous people in my career as a wedding photographer.  Braden & Emaline and their families are no exception.  I’m so thankful for clients turned friends!  For people who allow us into their lives and treat as one of the family!  

I am so excited to share some of Braden & Emaline’s wedding highlights from my perspective.  There are so many amazing vendors that I got to work with that made this wedding a reality!  I know that at the end of the day, Braden & Emaline knew just how much they were loved and cared for!  Congratulations to the newlyweds!!!
