Kolyn + Taylor

Love knows no bounds, and for Taylor and Kolyn, their wedding day was a testament to the strength of their love amidst stormy skies. As the morning dawned on their special day, we were greeted with bright blue skies, however as the day unfolded, the gray skies drew near and unleashed a mighty storm by mid afternoon. No worries though, Kolyn & Taylor didn’t seem to notice.

Amidst close friends and family, the ceremony was held at their home church (Central Christian Church.) So many heartfelt moments, but a few stuck out to us. We have photographed many first looks. Some couples choose to share a first look, while some brides just want to do a first look with their Dad. Taylor decided that she wanted to share a first look with all of her grandparents. It was a beautiful moment and we loved watching it unfold. Another moment that just touched our hearts was when Kolyn & Taylor honored Taylor’s late cousin’s, Michaela’s memory. In her honor, Michaela’s service dog, Evie walked down the aisle as the flower dog in her place. It was the most precious thing to behold.

The journey continued to the Snow Family Homestead, where the reception took place. The homestead provided the perfect setting for the celebration of Taylor and Kolyn’s new beginning. Surrounded by the love and support of their cherished loved ones, the couple danced, laughed, and celebrated the start of their life together.

As the evening wore on, nature seemed to mirror the emotions of the day. The storms that once threatened to disrupt their plans eventually subsided, allowing us to photograph a few photos outdoors. The night wasn’t over just yet. Under the gentle glow of string lights and the twinkling night sky, the couple took the opportunity to capture photographs with a BEAUTIFUL classic car that family brought over to use for photos . It was a magical way to end a day filled with emotions, love, and joy.
