What a GORGEOUS day for a wedding! Just a week ago, Dalton & Shelby became husband and wife and had the most gorgeous classy wedding at their church, Orchardville Church in Xenia, Illinois. Surrounded by their family, friends and church family they made vows to love each other for the rest of their lives and from what we hear, IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!

There were so many things and moments throughout Dalton & Shelby’s day that I thought to myself “I LOVE MY JOB.” Everything looked fantastic. We were around some of the kindest people on earth. From the first look with Dalton and Shelby where tears welled up in Shelby’s eyes as she talked to her soon to be husband to the apparent closeness of both families during family formals. I was obsessed with the neutral color palette and the elegant and classy decor by Park Avenue Blooms by Suzie. Who also did all the florals. That lady is a wizard. The reception space was beautiful decorated and intentional to make everyone feel special. My grandmother always told me a set table is an elegant table. Sure enough, she was right. To my surprise, I got to experience a first at this wedding. Dalton & Shelby wanted something different from the traditional food at receptions. Well, Angie (mother of the groom)understood the assignment! She came up with and designed the most elegant grazing table I have ever set my eyes on. I was in awe, people! I wasn’t the only one either. She definitely made sure to let me know that she could not have pulled it off without the support and help of her friends who did a lot of the leg work behind it all. As the day came to a close, we ended with portraits of Dalton & Shelby. There is no doubt about it, they are crazy about each other!!

Marriage is a beautiful union especially when Christ is the center of it. A marriage built on Christ is a marriage that is built to last. To have a Christ centered marriage that brings glory to God through the way that we love and the way that we live. That we would be servants of grace who give more than we’re given and forgive before we’re forgiven. This is the beautiful picture of what Christ has shown us!
